Personal Interests

When not working, Mr. Carter enjoys spending time with his family, going to church, and riding his Harley when time permits on a sunny day in the Hill Country. Obtaining a Mastery in the Martial Arts with over 35-years in practice in Korea and abroad, Mr. Carter enjoys training in the various art forms while maintaining a balance of mind, body, and spirit through eastern holistic practices and a training regimen utilizing yoga, meditation, weights, and cardiovascular training.

Biography

Fundamental to Mr. Carter is that his delivery of patient care is with genuine compassion, culturally sensitive communication, all coupled with emotional intelligence.

It is essential to provide a non-biased point of care, respecting patient preference to derive a mutually acceptable plan of care while promoting their health through anticipatory guidance, preventive measures, and patient-specific education in concurrence with evidence-based guidelines. This fusion asserts the maximization of positive-patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.

It is Mr. Carter’s goal to promote long-term health and wellness, whenever feasible, through preventive measures before illness and disease begin. It is his approach to exhaust all Complementary and Alternative Medical (CAM) therapies with patient-specific lifestyle modifications before relying on Conventional Medicine that is integral in the treatment of illness and disease.

Mr. Carter’s mission is to procure health and wellness through a collaborative patient-provider effort to acquire a common goal of a healthy long and fruitful life.
